ART TECHNIQUE

Hand Painted With Oils, resins and acrylics

The original pieces were painted and handcrafted with oils and pigmented resins up to 4-5 resin layers on top of each other creating a semi-translucent depth effect technique on wood panel on size of 120x120cm. The original painting Materia diluida has a size of 120x240cm and acrylic paint was also used in this particular Artwork (Interested in acquiring the original Art pieces? GICLÉE PIGMENTED PRINTS

Professional Photographed for reproduction & Archival Materials used

The Artist personally crafts, prints, signs, packs and sends every Limited Edition Art piece. The Artwork is printed in a size of 61x61cm with 4cm of white margin. Every archival GICLÉE print is reproduced with the highest standards, using quality Fine Art museum paper Hahnemühle Photo Rag® 308 gsm, 100% cotton, and 12 cartridges of Japanese Canon® LUCIA EX® pigmented inks to ensure the best quality and preservation of the piece. The GICLÉE pigmented prints will last over 200* years framed under UV glass, and 300* years in dark storage.

Perception & Expression

R. Valgart got inspired by the fact of living and dying every day, by the deterioration of the human skin and body as MATTER represented by the figurative, it makes a semblance of how the universe is formed while it deteriorates, the detachment of MATTER from the body existence with all its chemical and physical compounds evokes the detachment of matter in the universe. In his MATTER paintings some of the chemical components of the human body such as Oxygen, Carbon, Hydrogen, Calcium phosphorus and Sulfur, were expressed using the color palette of the mentioned chemical components.
